The Foundation of Our Order
Within The Aurelum Order, our rank structure serves as the bedrock of immersion and community. It is designed to reward progression, foster discipline, and ensure that every action taken—from the trials of an Acolyte to the leadership of a Master—contributes to a living, breathing Order. This hierarchy provides the clarity and organization necessary for the preservation and continuity of this Order.
The first step in our journey. Foundlings focus on the core values of the Order, developing their foundational understanding of harmony and discipline.
Rank Hierarchy
The Aurelum Order follows a strictly defined path of progression. Every member starts as a Foundling, and through trials, dedication, and leadership, ascends to the higher honors of the Order.
Foundling
The first step in our journey. Foundlings focus on the core values of the Order, developing their foundational understanding of combat.
→ Ascension Requirement: Attend and pass one Basic Combat Training.
Novitiate
The second step into becoming a full member of the Aurelum Order, these Novitiates grow near to securing a spot in the hierarchy of the Order.
→ Ascension Requirement: Attend and pass one Law and Lore Training.
Acolyte
Dedicated students of a chosen path. Acolytes dive deeper into specialized training within their Sanctums, proving their resolve.
→ Ascension Requirement: Acolytes are required to either find a Master (Knight+) or pledge themselves to self study as an Apostle.
Apprentice
Acolytes who have pledged themselves to a Master and now seek to become Knights of the Order.
→ Ascension Requirement: Join a Sanctum, Attend one Advanced Combat Class, Complete Knight Trials.
Apostle
Acolytes who have pledged themselves to self study on the path to Knighthood.
→ Ascension Requirement: Join a Sanctum, Attend one Advanced Combat Class, Complete Knight Trials.
Knight
Proven members of the Aurelum Order. The body in which the Order runs and the cogs that keep it preserved and continuing.
→ Ascension Requirement: Attend one Experienced Combat Class, Show Activity in your Sanctum, Pass Advanced Title Trial specific to your Sanctum.
Umbral Knight
The Advanced Knight within the Sanctum of Oracles. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.
→ Ascension Requirement: Show consistent work in your Sanctum, Be recommended by your peers for evaluation, appear before the Council.
Exarch
The Advanced Knight within the Sanctum of Conflict. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.
→ Ascension Requirement: Show consistent work in your Sanctum, Be recommended by your peers for evaluation, appear before the Council.
AHG Officer
The Advanced Knight within the Aurelum Honor Guard. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.

Warden
The First Type of Advanced Knight within the Sanctum of Laws and Justice. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.
→ Ascension Requirement: Show consistent work in your Sanctum, Be recommended by your peers for evaluation, appear before the Council.
Magistrate
The Second Type of Advanced Knight within the Sanctum of Laws and Justice. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.
→ Ascension Requirement: Show consistent work in your Sanctum, Be recommended by your peers for evaluation, appear before the Council.
Magister
The Advanced Knight within the Sanctum of Knowledge. If a member reaches this rank and switches Sanctums, they are dropped back to Knight.
→ Ascension Requirement: Show consistent work in your Sanctum, Be recommended by your peers for evaluation, appear before the Council.
Archon/Master
The Highest Achievable Rank within the Aurelum Order. Showing perfect commitment to the Order and its continuity.
With a heightened responsibility, they are the Overseers of the Sanctums and their workings.
Vela Ascendant
Hand selected individuals by the Vela Prime to sit on the Council. Assigned as Supreme Overseers of the Sanctums and the direct line from the Prime to the rest of the Order's body.
There may be only be five at a time.
Vela Paragon
Hand selected by the Vela Prime, the Second in Command of the Aurelum Order in its entirety. The Sitting Prime in the absence of the Vela Prime. The Paragon leads the Sanctum of Laws and Justice, and ensures the safety and commitment of all members.
There may be only one at a time.
The Vela Prime
The Leader of the Aurelum Order.
The Embodiment of Aurelum's values and teachings, and the ultimate voice in decisions for the entirety of the Order.
The Privileges of Authority
Ascending through the ranks of The Aurelum Order brings more than just a title; it brings an evolution of purpose. Higher ranks unlock a profound influence over the Order's narrative and command within the specialized Sanctums. As you ascend, your influence grows, granting access to sacred trials and the privilege of mentoring the next generation, guiding the Order toward its eternal balance.
